In the program "Shark Rebellion", bull sharks that prowl a wreck off the coast of Cuba like to be hand fed from the divers that periodically visit the wreck. As it turns out, sharks are not viscious, mindless killers. They are just easily excitable and tend to react violently to their surroundings. That's what makes the water's surface such a killing field. So much activity goes on there that a shark goes into sensory overload and reacts the only way he knows how.

Amazing....absolutely amazing that this animal-who usually would be on the attack-recognized his old friends and responded appropriately. Not to mention other pride members accepting them as well. Animals of the wild will NEVER cease to amaze us. |
