IT'S UNBELIEVABLE that some regard the 2008 KONG as a flop: it's made a ton of money, granted not as much as LOTR did, but a massive profit nevertheless even after the initial 100 MILLION-plus budget is subtracted.

the wall set from 'KONG' was built for a previous silent movie, 'KING of KINGS' and used, unaltered on KONG.

There was one big blooper in the King Kong movie. They built a great big wall to keep him out and instead of building a gate for people to fit through, they built a great big gate that King Kong could fit through.
