maybe, but recently Hugh Laurie was interviewed in the USA by James Lipton and sang this song. In his new rendition he said "dead since 1993". So I'm guessing he's just going for the rhyme. He still rules, though.

The real mystery is who he might be signing about... let's see... another country, died in 1973, January... -Lyndon Johnson (former US President) -Edward G. Robinson (actor) Hmm no ladies... Other deaths in 1973 (Besides January) -Pablo Picasso -Bruce Lee -Veronica Lake -J.R.R. Tolkien Or maybe it's just that January and 1973 rhyme with mystery.

To clear up Insanitary and Unsanitary are the same word...Insanitary works better int he sentence and is used more frequently. Stephan fry whoops Hugh lauries arse any day, hugh laurie still rocks though. Ace song ^_^
