Yes, that's Sherrie his girlfriend at the time. If you type in "Journey and Steve Perry story", there's a good interview about him and the band. I know, LUCKY GIRL!!!!

I just want to know if the girl in the video was really his girlfriend and if she was she was the luckiest girl in the world to have a man like that, could you imagine him singing to you.......

Pavarotti has called many the greatest singers ever, means nothing really, he's a very generous person in his praise... yes, your right, album wise Halford is top 5 easy.. Your missing a small but in some ways, the only key to this judgment, singing live... when you include constant live performances Halford falls to around the 18 to 20 mark... opinion is just that, opinion, and yours is as welcome as anyones... I encourage you to join debates at, (google) digitaldream door

Rob halford is the best rock/metal voice ever period. Pavarotti called him the greatest singer ever and that should tell you something. Steve Perry, Freddie Mercury were two of the best no doubt, but they cant even come close to the raw power and range of Rob halford in his prime. Go Listen to the CD versions of Blood Red Skies and Painkiller, then a beautiful ballad like Dreamer Deciever. He cannot be touched.

this song reminds me of my aunt. her name was sharon, but we called her sherrie for short. it brings back so many memories of her.

Yeah, but Steve Perry has the highest vocal range for men, and he's not gay!
