I agree. I'd never ever vote for Al Sharpton. Ever. In my life.

Hes not Muslim, but Barack is a Muslim name.

I was answering someone elses comment that "blacks only vote for blacks no matter what...", as Barack Obama is not the only black person to ever run in a primary(Jackson, Sharpton, Keyes) and not all blacks voted for them.
What are you talking about?

Such ignorance to believe that skin pigmentation makes a difference to someone's character.

Wow! I am very surprised that they are very irrational and easily influenced by the media. If only they had computers in West Virginia, they might just research about Obama. Just like I did. I'm only 16 years old. Will someone vote for me? Obama '08.

I don't have an issue with black ppl at all. All i care about is do they represent what i believe in? That is what a representative government is for right or am i a racist if i don't vote for him? Currently he does not in the least represent what i believe in. Does that make me a bad person?

I agree. I'd rather not see this thing turn on the black and white, Muslim vs. Christian rhetoric that has been unfairly injected into the election. One worries about those numbers though because conservatives all the way to the moderate left lean against Obama right now. It's become more of a change v. less-change, idealism v. lazy pragmatism, white v.black. That said, we should find a way to also discuss intelligently issues of race, because it is obviously an issue with Americans. |
