There's no reason to be dismissive of modern music to love T. Rex. Let's face it, they weren't some sort of amazing groundbreaking band...they were simply one of the best examples of the well-tested rock 'n' roll art form.
There were great bands before T. Rex and great bands afterwards. Certainly, T. Rex remains one of the best of all time.

I love those cello's in the chorus section. You can realy hear them very pronounced on vinyl.

wow those were the days when music was music shame most of the stuff today is such crap, only a few decent bands artists around now but back in those days you could put radio one on and actually enjoy it.

marc bolan was considered as everything simply because he was awesome and always will be he was such an inspiration and he has influenced all sorts of music styles and will continue to unless people stop listening to his music which will never be because he is a legendary artist long live t-rex
