it does require our attention-but by taking sides ruthlessly?i'm an atheist,an arab, but i don't believe in sympathising exclusively with the palestinians even though my heart does naturally.call me an idealist but i hate how the jews and arabs define themselves by ethnicity. it's a load of shite and i know cos i've lived it.i know it's complex, but the root is also simple.people are ignorant and overly group-determined, rather than individualist.that's just one of the problems,on a social level
