Sure, this is little sloppy, when compared with his other demos. But, the reason is clear... The audiance is too close and they have to think abt them also... I like Yahara Sensei s agressive dynamic way :)

Awesome! Yahara sensei is a living legend. I first trained with sensei over 20 years ago and he inspires me as much now as he did then. Ossu Linden Huckle UK

Seriously, you have to be there to see it, or face and attack Yahara Sensei in reality to understand what is going on here. There is a similar problem with his 8th Dan grading. A lot of people, particularly US karateka who have never experienced Yahara's speed and power, don't understand what is going on. In a sense the camera does lie. Anyone, anyone who has trained more than a few hours with Yahara Sensei comes to understand what he has got in spades- at age 60.

Yeah, that was a bad demo... but this is really good in real life... his assistant Kawazaki Norio isnt bad either... I dont know what was wrong with them this time- it looked sloppy... I will say Mikio has raw power. He would decimate most challengers.

That was a pretty bad demonstration. I've seen better at local tournaments.
