This isn't perfect but honestly who cares if his voice is a little off or whatever? Panda might just be the coolest cat on Earth. He and the rest of Animal Collective are so brilliant. This song just makes you smile no matter how cynical or cool you are. It is rare for music or a musician to do that nowadays.

In studio, a band can utilize as many takes as it is necessary to have everything pitch-perfect. When a band preforms live, they only have one shot and that is it.

well, while you think its 'dumb' for people to compare him to Brian Wilson, I find it - 'hilarious'. I mean, I think we're feeling the same here. But people make comparisons, so let them... I can see where people make the connection, and it's not that entirely 'out there'. Panda's a big B WILSON fan, and I bet it had some 'influence' on his 'music', but yeah.
