Id rather fire that thing from the jeep, its simple. drive, park, shoot, n drive away. tat way i would not get as much radiation then firing it on foot.

Not sure who invented it, but its a desperation weapon, only meant to be used when absolutely necessary, meaning, "you're dead whether you use it or not; might as well take them down before they get me and risk the chance of radiation afterwards." This weapon would certainly give the soldier of the 1960s a lot of anti-armor capability, which was a big problem for the USA since the USSR had so many tanks. Remember, this predates the man-portable guided missile launchers we have today.

It could probably be useful from firing from helicopters. After you fire it. Fly away quickly!
