Dear Julmops! Liz Mitchell the only one who could sing properly? Ha, ha! Yes Boney M only consisted of two singers. But Mitchell with her (little) talent could never drag Boney M along without Marcia Barrett. She saved Boney Ms a** when they had to prove in the start that they were more than just a studio band. Marcia sang less lead, which is not understandable as she was not only the more attractive, charismatic but also the more talented singer. Watch the DVD Fantastic Boney M .. e.g Belfast!

It is definitely lipsynched but it's the lead singer, Liz Mitchell. The only member of the original cast who could sing properly !!! I've been a huge fan of Boney M for more than 30 years now ... No wonder why they look a bit older !! The rest of the cast are new members ... The problem is that there's another Boney M act touring with Bobby Farrell and new members as well...
The one and only Boney M in my opinion should be considered as the one with Liz Mitchell.
