I don't watch msnbc, I watch CNN, so I can't speak about them. All I know is that Fox News is a very right-leaning channel. They manipulate the news to appeal to their conservative viewers.

Both the left-wing and right-wing fascists are scared shitless that Palin might have a political career outside Alaska and they are doing what communists and fascists throughout history have always historically done: try and ruin her credibility with lies and slander. It's important to understand that left wing fascists always hold their opponents to a much higher standard than their own for two reasons 1) It's an age-old radical tactic and 2)there are no leftists with any integrity anyway.
