That's just cool and wicked. I thought the Venus fly trap closes so slow for the insect not to notice.. But really, It closes so fast.. as if it's actually active and movative!

Yeah I had some carnivorous plants like these here. You could get them at Home Depot-they sell like hotcakes! Or you can go buy them on-line and ship it to your home. Most of the time they're clones though. You need to be in a Hot, Humid environment-just like in the carolinas. Use Sphagnum peat moss as soil they don't need ordinary planting dirt. My favorite is the Pitcher plant(It grew very BIG traps). Its very resistant unlike the honeydew-which was the hardest to maintain. Very delicate.

i used to stun them, if you clap your hands on the fly without your palms touching the shock in the air knocks the fly out. And 5 mins later it would regain consciousness inside a closed trap.
