s and firebird etc. now i'm not saying that he's the only one that draws from other composers, i'm just saying that he does it a little more and that he draws almost directly in some cases. Now i'll stop the insult slinging, i was in a bad mood at the time of that last post, and i apologize for it. but that sums up my opinion.

John williams hasn't stolen anything directly, but if you compare many of his pieces to others, you can see that a lot of it pulls way to much comparison for it to be a coincidence. one example off the top of my head would be comparing the chord structure and texture from Across the Stars from Episode two, to swan lake ballet by Tchaikovsky, if you listen to other pieces by williams, some in star wars, some in Indy, some in ET, a lot of what he's written comes from larger suites like the planet

awe i see,you automatically say you know more about music than someone you have never met, making the assumption you are greater than possible anyone.let me ask you this do you watch yourself in the mirror when you practice?whether it is yes or no you blow, for not backing up your statement, what compositions has he stolen from the COMPOSERS?huh?

I'll let you hear my music if you can give me an explanation based on music theory and 16th century counter-point as to how John Williams is a better composer than Mozart or Bach. I'm working on a masters in tuba performance, I'm pretty sure i know a bit more about music than you do. oh and by the way, a note on the original post, Bach isn't a classical composer, he is a Baroque composer
