Also take into account, that kaioken is very hard on the body. Look at how injured Goku was in the original fight with Vegeta from overusing the technique. Using it while having the level of energy a SSJ has would be next to suicide.

Actually, I believe he wasn't able to use Spirit Bomb and Kaioken because the Super Saiyan form doesn't make your heart as "pure" as your original form. I think on the Turlis(sp) saga he mentions how the spirit bomb is an ability that relies on purity alone. Even on the death of Buu saga, Goku only went Super Saiyan after releasing his spirit bomb or else it wouldn't have worked.

The only way out was to just "ban" these techniques. If they stayed in the series Goku would always be insanely more powerfull than anyone else. Super Sayan + Kaioken can be better than Super Sayan 2 for example.
So they banned Kaioken forever.
And the spirit bomb only appeared again on the last episodes of Buu and the technique itself was completely "nerfed" reworked (having to ask for energy instead of just taking it).

Kaioken can reach any power level you want.
If you are wondering why Goku never does it again after Freeza or why he never does it with Super Sayan the reason is balance.
Before Freeza Goku is supposed to be much stronger than any other good guy.
After Freeza Akira Toriyama decided that Goku should be more "in line" with the other main chars (Gohan and Vegeta). With the kaioken or the spirit bomb this "toning down" of Goku would simply be impossible since these techniques are way too powerfull.

Yes i think kaioken can be stronger than a super saiyan but it uses a lot of energy and can not be sustained

Can Kaioken surpass a Super Saiyan in power? Let's say:
Base Goku(normal form)= power level of 5.
Super Saiyan Goku = power level of 100.
So if Goku does Kaioken times 21(and above) he surpasses the Super Saiyan?
