i think it's quite fascinating the way in which he describes 'seeing' words as shapes; it sounds as if he may have had a mild case of syneasthesia, a neurological disorder in which the senses overlap and are sometimes confused, so a person might hear a taste, or smell a thing upon seeing it. If he truly saw words as shapes, he might have experienced other 'mixed' sensual stimuli, as well. Fascinating, I think.

Imagination is the divine force Funny how so many musicians now a days forget that though it makes so much sense. Elliott was brilliant and incredibly unique in every way.
