Thank you! My little guy has a great sensei...but wants to enhance his abilities by watching different styles and putting everything together to make his best impression during tournaments. He was really impressed with your step be step approach! We will take a look at the link.

My 10 year old boy is absolutely fastenated with your videos. He is still a novice, green belt in the Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan karate here in West Virginia. Your videos are well presented and take the time to teach rather than just rush through the kata.
I would love to be able to "buy" your entire series~
Well done!

I like listening to this guy talk. its interesting how people are people, but we all sound different.

The end of the clip has the first of the hojo-undo. Watch closely - no wrist bending, although other clips show hoju-ondo that need a little bend to the wrist to get the proper positioning. "Spins and turns" are freestyle, not weaponry, and if a sensei demonstrates with the nunchaku held very far away from the butt end, it is not being used as a weapon, but as "something to spin". I end up "choked up" like that by mistake, so I won't be showing *myself* doing any nunchaku on YouTube!

but u need wrist for spins and turns

No, it's all in the arm and shoulder. The wrist wouldn't give you power in swings.

uhh i think its all in the wrist

it might just be the type of pants. my sister wears a lot of fabric that makes her knees look bent when they actually aren't.

Strange, is it me or is he bow-legged? |
