You talk like Reggie is the only standout college player to go to the NFL and not accomplish much. Its a team sport dummy. At USC he had a good team blocking for him and helping him make plays. What does he have at New Orleans? Nothing. A quarterback or running back is nothing without the rest of the team. Football is not a one man sport.
