Look, while we all know that ubuntu is a better operating system than vista don't kid yourself that unbuntu LOOKS better than vista, ubuntu's visual style looks like something an 11 year old child made in his bedroom one night, who the hell wants a 'wobbly window'?, that switcher cube takes longer to use than the MS alternative and FLAMES when you close a window? how tacky. The vista visual style is refined and tidy, the ubuntu one looks like a pre beta unfinished interface.

I'm wondering if many of the popular games will run on this OS? Because alot of stuff's been made for Vista now.

That's the thing, most people care about the eye candy alot. But, if you're focusing on the effects slowing down your computer, you have to remember that your computer will run faster on Linux anyways.
