Jim Henson was one of those people who will be missed. I grew up with the Muppets, Sesame Street, the Muppet Movies, Dark Crystal, Labryinth....all of his works. Seeing the tribute videos makes me realize that he is not only missed,...but the impact he made on the people around him will be felt for all time.

I assume that when you mention the "mammoth" you're referring to Snuffy who was actually a Snuffleupagus, NOT a mammoth. I really don't know how anyone can be so ignorant. If you're not a Jim Henson fan that's fine, to each his own. But, to completely trash a man who is singularly responsible for the creativity and intelligence of the children of the past 5 decades is absolutely insane. Jim Henson was a visionary and a genius who was taken from us far too soon.
