if the sahabah weren't sure because they were taught the sevirity of trhe tounge and they were better than us in religion and furthermore the hadiths compiliors (bukhari muslim ahmad ect. did the most rigourous and difficult things to get hadiths sahih they looked at the person if he was trustworthy if he had good memory and so on..

the hypocrites in the time of the prophet pbuh were ALL wel known they didnt pray in thez mosque and they stayed away frum jihad and made deals with the kufar...the sahabas we take are hadiths frum took wht muhammad S.A.W and wrote it down or memorized it and if they weren't sure they wouldnt say anything..so if they say somethin in a hadith and the chain is good then its sahih or hasan and deres ALOT more qualifications that the scholars of ahlul sunnah wal jama'ah go through

Dude, God says in the Quran that he is satisfied with the first generation of muslims (sahabas). And to be a shia u must do takfir on all sunnis. Accourding to shia teachings u can only be muslim if u follow Ali. ( U claim to follow Ali but are doing the exact opposite, live christians with Jesus). THere is a hatith sahih where the prophet (peace be upon him) says that is u hold on to the Quran a SUNNAH you will never get lost. So lets do it. I say to my self first then to you .

To know what is the message of Islam. First read the Quran. Second understand the Quran in its exclusive and unique 23 years context. The context constitutes prophet's entire experience in those 23 years. The context used by those who follow Quran and Sunnah is authentic and verified to be consistent through multiple channels to more than one sources. The traditions have been meticulously categorized and prioritized as strong weak doubtful. Strong are irrefutable beyond any shadow of doubt.

We have no right to say that so so said unless the essential or pillar is clearly stated in Quran. Because pillars or essential are all commanded in Quran at least at the high level. Quran is the utlimate guidance. It does not make sense to believe that some thing which can cause you to become a disbeliever is not there at least at the high level..
