I will tell you why. There is no more creative talent juices flowing. This generation has lost its hope and its drive. The 80s was when President Reagan drive the Soviet Union to economic ruin. We were the invincible generation.

ur absolutely right. i graduated high school in 1986 and grew up on MTV when it actually played videos and i loved Martha Quinn, Alan Hunter, JJ Jackson, Mark Goodman and Nina Blackwood. No more rockin' chicks anymore.

I would never compare Benatar with Madonna, Pat would sing Madonna right off the stage. No onesings as good as Pat especially with all the teen princesses of today. That fat, drunk cow proved that at the VMAs. I mean Britney or course.

I'm a huge fan of Pat Benatar. One time, this like, orchestra band thingy played a my school and they played Heartbreaker. I was singing along to it, and everyone else was looking at me like I had three heads!!! Then, when we got back to class, this girl said she only recognized the song when it got to the chorus!!! I was like, "WTF!!! You don't know Pat Benatar!!! GRRR!!!" Why doesn't anyone listen to good music anymore?!?!
