and yes playing real guitar is a better way to do it but variety is the spice of life! doing one thing for too long is boring... I remember that some guitar players ive known have used hand exercisers to strengthen their fingers. not saying its strictly necessary but each to their own lol anyway take care xxx

when i say strengthen fingers i mean that when u begin playing guitar its sometimes hard 2 get ur fingers used 2 the movements and that the quick pressing of buttons in a similar position shud help 2 get the muscles in ur fingers used to it. Also when u start playing it takes far more effort to hold a string down at the right strength to make the note sound right than it does when u been playing long enuf for ur fingers to get used to it so finger strength helps... or so my guitar teachers said

I play guitar at (In my opinion) a pretty good level (I play live), and i agree with you, somewhat. Gh may be fun, and it certainly does not insult real guitarists, i mean all the people are trying to do is have fun, but it does not help your fingers. besides, if you want to play guitar, wouldnt you much rather have fun playing the actual guitar versus a fake one?

seems to me that GH wud b a fun way to strengthen fingers in order to better play guitar? so i wud say it compliments guitar not insults it

i play guitar hero, and i play real guitar... uv been proven wrong....stings dont it?
