Nah the bosses are always the same. You might be thinking of the Guardian boss. Has an orb thing floating above it that you shoot and it goes red and stuff.

i thought the first boss was this huge spider thingy with a red aura orb circle thingy that u shoot to kill it or r the bosses diffrent since ur doing recruit?

You know you can duck under imp, hellknights and cacodemons' shots? well it is quite easy to do it. Ive also done it with revanants but only if they are at certain angles. Oh and the hellknights shots might explode and you get splash damage but no biggie.
