Diferent styles. Wich one best in his own. Tristania without Morten is not so good. Songs like Evenfall or My Lost Lenore were so fucking great. But songs like Equilibrium or Sanguine Sky are not so good. Tuomas Holopainen must be one of the greatest songwritters on Earth. Nightwish's songs are very good.

I can't choose - honestly. I think both Tuomas and Morten write deep and meaningfull lyrics, compose great music and they both seem to be down-to-earth and kind guys.

I Like Growls but not Tristanias Growls.Because of the Vocals Morten is doing 60% and the thing is that it is only 30 procent vocal in Tristanias songs so that leaves only a few words for Vibeke and than it is not even right to call her front girl when Morten is doing almost everything.Simone on the other hand is doing 50%of the vocals and 66%combined with the choir..Thats how a female metal band is organized but in the way Tristania is organized it shouldent even been called a Female Metal Band

... REAL metal fans definitely want 50% of a song to be growling. 60%, even. It's kinda wussy to say you don't like growls when you listen to metal.

Oh dear, we have an AF/Epica fanatic on our hands. Morten's growls are by far infinitely more melodic and proper than Mark or Sander. Mark literally sounds like "gjklfkgsdkgkdfgjldfgj" when he sings (and I do like Mark).

hey speaking of destroying voicals ... dose anyone notice how Tuomas's music totaly drained out Tarja's voice by the time she was kicked out??? (Stargazers is a great example) he also changed the tone for Deep Silent Complete and other songs for the Once tour beacuse her voice couldn't handle the original tone anymore ... and I also see it in Anette too ... in early 2007 she had a stonger voice then than she dose now with them ... so I'm wondering .. dose Tuomas's music rape the voicals??? o_O?

OMG you are just saying that to defend him he is NO way better than Mark or Sander..When he growls live it sounds more like he is choking than growling
