this happens because you are not going at the same speed on your back cast as your forward cast, you need to keep an even tempo throughout the whole duration of the cast

hey aledwynhughes your are dumb, his casting is fine, you never false cast too much he's trying to put it in a spot where he can get the perfect drift down to the fish. the fish usually go for it when the fly is coming ut of the water?? hahaha

Chill out. He wasn't casting because he was fishing. He was trying to demonstrate the differences in the cast between fly fishing and spin/baitcasting.

Your casting is very bad, you break your wrist and you fling your rod out to the side and pull in your line to fast. You also start recasting to soon, you should pull it out slowly as the fish usual goes for it when the fly is coming out of the water and you do to many falls casts. the fly doesn't kneed to pull it out. I am not trying to insult you i am trying to help, oh and by the way i am 12 years old. Hope I helped thanks good bye. =D
