It's not live. This guy filmed them filming the video... And for music videos they play back the song and you play along with it

woah. dude when bands record their music videos. i dont know 100% about this one. but 99% of the time.. when they're just getting the video footage. they do both. they play OVER THE TOP. of the album version being played.

matt and corey are AWESOME players, but theyve NEVER nailed thiese solos so close to the album version. maybe thats because THIS IS THE ALBUM VERSION. and if youre looking at his fingers to see that powerchord, notice how he missed it with his fingers, but it was still there. they need the original recording underneath anyway to make sure they play along correctly for the video. they almost always play faster live. short version: youre wrong
