It's one of Sting's better rolls and I think it's cool that he chose to do a VERY indie British film because, even by '81, I'm sure Hollywood was calling. This would never happen today, so it's great that this exists. Also, The Police made some great music for this film.

I remember this film, thought it was quite good at the time, didnt think sting was all that bad in it considering he's not an actor but he did have a certain charisma in the part..good job on the trailer though..

That was such an embarrasing performance by sting. If you watch the original performance by Michael Kitchen, you can see why he is regarded as a great actor. Sting is just a wannabe doing a dodgy imitation of a real actor.

it seems to be a movie worth watching even without sting...does anyone know how to get it? Noone knows it here...

I agree about your "unfocused" comment, but this was intended to have a voiceover, which I didn't get the chance to add.
It was created six years ago, so the chances of it being cut down are pretty slim...too many other priorities.
The music is from the film's soundtrack.

Not a bad trailer but it was a bit unfocused. If I hadn't seen the film already, I might still not be sure what it's about. I would cut it to under 1.30 and make it build up more. Good choice of music. |
