So jehetty, When are you going to post your own video and show us what you think is lacking here? Who knows we may actually learn from you.

Your Chi is so smooth and centered so flowing like unto soft water delicate like a beautiful flower elegant feminine and IT IS Chi with its dualism soft and hard which you have in abundance, baring your youth im certain that with constant practice you will achive perfection, move with the breath in up out down expand like heat and contract like cold .Move Chi with your thoughts, use deep breath to anchor deep below the earth,sink.expand.slow.

No, taiji doesn't HAVE to be GREAT, but it needs to follow certain principles to be good for health or fighting. This has nothing to do with ego, it's just the basis of taiji. It is ego to present a pretty but empty form as a guide. I don't know the background of this woman, but it looks like an instructional vid to me. I have no stake in promoting myself or belittling her, but I think it fair to point out fundamental flaws.

Does Tai Chi have to be great.Isn't it a personal journey.

It's amazing how some people in Tai Chi get lost in Ego. Which is definitley not a principle of Tai Chi.

This is just really bad. I see no signs of any of the principles of tai gik kuen here. The only thing i see is "look so smoothly I can move", witch isn't a pricinple of the art at all. This is typically showmanship, and has nothing to do with the real art

Not enought waist, too much up and down, knee bends inward too often (lacking structure). Pretty and smooth, but not great taiji.
