i do agree with you to some degree..
that´s the same reason i dont like mindfreak cause is only camera tricks..
but in this case.. i think this is a good performance and yes we dont see the change, but it was still quite impressive for krumholtz and i bet all muggles like it too.

pitcho1: I see what you mean by 'gay trick' - I mis-understood you! it was a dodgy edit that turned it into a 'gay trick'. Barry does seem to use multiple cameras with cutting at 'just the right time'.
Maybe 'good trick' but 'gay presentation'.
If he can do the trick with the spec seeing 'the move' then it's a good trick but not for showing on TV where you have to cut to make it work for a TV audience.
I agree with you I love seeing the simplicity of the secret to great tricks.

I disagree, i'm a huge fan of magic.. and slight of hand stuff is cool. And when I find out how most tricks are done, I don't think "gay trick" I think very clever, or skillfully done. When somebody just edits the film it's gay...

I'm no great fan of Barry's but for David that would have been a nice trick. There is a certain amount of skill involved there and when you find out how most tricks are done you will realise that they are mostly 'gay tricks'. The best tricks are sometimes the simplest.

Yes, the 'clever' editing hides any mis-direction happening that the viewer might see. For David Krumholtz he will not have seen any mis-direction and therefore it will have been a nice reveal for him.
The problems of doing such tricks on a medium that can be paused really. Lesson for Keith is don't do a trick that can be guessed by pausing it.
However, as he's so lazy that he left the details of a gaffed deck fully in view in one trick he sometimes isn't that careful.

he keeps saying... "I took control of your hands", "I took control of your hands"... idiot. Any trick that uses the camera to cuts away when the slight of hand occurs is pointless

it's a gay trick...
he just switches the other guys cube when he says, "I'll look at yours and you look at mine". The camera cuts it out.
look at min 1:03 when the guy shows his cube for a second... you can see 1 full face and one partial (red in middle, and green in middle.
