Suggs is an absolute legend

it was probably a 'live' recording for the show. ie. prerecorded but enough times to get it just right, with no mastering ect. it gives a fake "live" sound

Madness is a hysterical band! Saw them at J.F.K. stadium in 1983 when they, REM and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts opened up for The Police. JFK Jam as it was known!

Seems a bit fast for the recorded version.

Top of the Pops was always lip-synced. Madness actually made fun of it with their first appearance by using a toy saxaphone during the performance. Fun stuff though!
