slipknot has a few nu-metal songs, and theyre last 2 albums they added a soft song vermillion pt2 in subliminal verses vol.3 and dead memories in all hope is gone which has no nu-metal so idk wtf ur talkin about. other than that all theyre tracks are heavy ass-kicking riffs and solos...
