If Shishova were competing today, she could clean the clocks out of everybody out there.

Supposedly a Chinese gymnast was the first to do a full-in dismount but I have seen video that suggests otherwise.

Remember, folks, that was 1983! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

It's amazing that 25 years later, her skills would still be very difficult by today's standards.

A gymnast that was certainly under-rated and in the wrong time era in terms of high level of skills. Remember in the early 80's, when double full dismounts was consider hard and had a high difficult value.

I think I remember hearing of her competing the full as early as 1980. Don't recall who was first to do full-in off beam, but they didn't name every skill that already has a name after its originator back then (nor every minor grip-change variation, but don't get me started!).

The double tuck full dismount wasn't named after anyone.

Do you know if the double tuck full dismount is named after anyone???

Wow! That was the first back tuck full EVER! And she also did a double tuck full dismount!
