Yes, but most other countries think they are better than America, there is no egotism there? Its called nationalism, we all feel it, I don't care who you are. And in some sense we are at least majorly important to the world, otherwise we wouldn't have the spotlight 24/7 when something major happens to us. Whether it be a mistake, or a new president.

Its funny that every country seems to hate America. I'm an American and i can tell you that pretty much no Americans think they're better than any country. I love a lot of foreign music. Its ridiculous we don't hate other countries just because we happen to be big isn't our fault. We don't hate any countries (except France is annoying but every country thinks that so you can't just blame us right?lol). Americans aren't bad people and whoever stereotypes us is just immature.
