normally the parachute would have deployed slowing him down, and word was the explosion at the finish line knocked him out and thats why he never slowed down

a wall 400 mts after the 1/4? these cars are going @ 300mph like 480kph so the track will end at....5 or 6 more secs?...there should b like a mile after the finish line. i think the crash killed him not the explosion

When he went to the finals in joliet the week before I was standing less than three feet away from the man. Drag racing as a sport lost a great champion that day, and he should never be forgotten. RIP Scott.We hope your winning races up there.

Think of it this way, its like getting run over by all Eight THOUSAND horses sitting INCHES in front of him, which EXPLODED as in BLEW UP, like seriously...have you ever been hit by 8000 horses in your face? the shock wave from these engines WARMING up can make cameras shut off from the raw power.. |
