The brilliant, yet funny, Comic Relief 2005 video to (Is This The Way To) Amarillo... minus Jonathan Ross babbling on like a little old git at the beginning of it!! Some of the celebrities that appear in this video are: Max Paddy (a couple of doormen), Shaun Ryder, Bez, Brian Potter (lazy owner of the world-famous Phoenix Club, as seen on TV), Ken Dierdre from Corrie, several three-foot tall members of the Bolton Wanderers Hooligan Squad (they beat up Max Paddy in Phoenix Nights), Mr. Blobby, Ronnie Corbett (one Ronnie), Jimmy Saville (he fixed it for us), Tony Christie (he doesn't know where Amarillo is...) and Michael Aspel... amongst others.

what a shame that Tony Christie is now spouting forth that he hates this song, after it resuscitated his career...

Hi Eman, Tony is always described as from Sheffield, Yorkshire but was actually born in Conisbrough S. Yorks. Again, it's not too far from us, no more than 100 miles. Not too sure where he's lving now.

That's too cool Phil....what about Tony Christie, where does he reside? I always liked him better then Tom Jones. However he wasn't big here in the U.S....
