String Theory

The basic idea behind all string theories is that the fundamental constituents of reality are strings of extremely small size (possibly of the order of the Planck length, about 10−35 m) which vibrate at specific resonant frequencies.[2] Thus, any particle should be thought of as a tiny vibrating object, rather than as a point. This object can vibrate in different modes (just as a guitar string can produce different notes), with every mode appearing as a different particle (electron, photon etc.). Strings can split and combine, which would appear as particles emitting and absorbing other particles, presumably giving rise to the known interactions between particles. these are all toss the coin guesses all 50/50. Wow the Bible predicted the universe will end that's a 50/50 chance, BIG DEAL. The bible was written by idiots for idiots like you.

THANK YOU. even if im muslim you HAVE to believe in science as well. Quantam Mec. involves more into Atoms and Quarks though but considering a transistor is thinner than the human hair yes it works. Cant wait for the LHC to come back online :)

Maybe!

You mean an infinite amount of universes started 14.5 billion years ago!

A circle or better yet a sphere has no beginning or end.

If you study science, it becomes harder and harder to believe anything the bible says. You're right that science will never be able to prove or disprove God though. The universe is strange to put it mildly. We know that the universe began about 14.5 billion years ago. What was there before the Big Bang. Why does the universe exist? Why do we exist? These are very deep questions.

Before we used to argue that nothing is eternal in the universe. Everything has a beginning and an end. Now we know that energy is eternal, is existed before the big bang. That suggest that energy is god. Who knows? Can anyone ever, with 100% affirmation, deny the existence of god? You may not know, there are many gaps between evolutionary explanation of the universe and the creation of life. Just look at a face of human, you see emotion, love, guilt and so, why don't you see it in an animal?

No, A religious person can't say his/her belief is wrong because no-one can prove or disprove god. One may argue, God says he created the world in 6 days, is wrong. But know that time is an allusion. We count days and night by the rotation of the earth around the sun. Plus Bible says God created the universe and will destroy it. Now we know that the universe was created n will end. We experimented universe is expand, it says it in the Bible. and may more. I don't know who to believe anymore.

a physicist has to have faith in experiments which can either prove or disprove a theory. The situation with string theory is that there are presently no experiments that can definitively show it to be right or even wrong. But there are clues that the theory is on the right track. That's why a string theorist at least acknowledges the possibility that string theory could be all wrong. Can a person of faith have the honesty to say, "Yeah, its possible that my faith is all wrong."
