These guys know what they are getting into when they join Blackwater. There are heavy risks and as they are seasoned veterans they know the risks. I can not agree with the families here picking holes etc. These are ex special forces guys not some wet behind the ears recruits.

Well who would pay Blackwater to kill random people? Who gets anything out of that deal? I think he was defending the building...Or somthing in it or neer it. Can you give me any proof that his job was to kill people? I have yet to see anything that even points that way... Did Bush asked the troops to chuck puppys off cliffs? Or was that just some asshole? Just because Blackwater kill people don't mean it's in there contract. It's not like you can arrest them for it...

They arnt assasins. They don't kill people for money unless they have a reason. If they are protecting someone and they get shot at and kill the people who shot at them then they asked to be killed. They arnt hired to kill people.

you dumbass i am 17 and i cant join the military yet. I am not fat and not lazy. I am going to join the military whether U.S. or private. and i am sorry you lost a friend but their families have no right to complain. when you sign up to fight for the military you know what you are getting into. and sadly dying is part of it. I respect the men who lost their lives, but i do not respect their families who are blaming everyone but themselves

You're right on it not being the government's fault about the deaths. The point was that Black Water behaved negligently in providing support to their personnel. PMCs are necessary to protect our civilians working in the middle east and elsewhere, the military isn't going to get involved. If you or your relatives get kidnapped overseas the US military isn't going to save your ass but a PMC might.
