you need to research for truth and never settle with one side of it, if you want to find out who he was, you need to look out for everything you can read or watch, there is a couple of movies of him, staring Benicio del Toro, called 'El Argentino' and 'Guerrilla' the second one, but I couldn't say how sticked to the truth they are cause I haven't seen it, though, but if you really want to know, I could maybe try yo help. the best luck to you, congrats for not beeing afraid of questioning!
