tarcalion. I was responding to sawmonkey. I agree with you. You should check out Imogen Heap "Just For Now" (Live at studio 11). If you haven't seen it already. Really good performance using looped sound.

I can respect the way he uses the mixers. aside from the bassline in the beginning, most of what you hear is being recorded and recalled during the performance. you can see him hitting the pedals

I love Andrew Bird, by far my favorite artist these past two years. He can just compose any genre and make it sound beautiful.

Only a tiny part of his show is pre-recorded. Like the piano. He plays almost everything, he just uses a loop pedal to replay what he's already played.
