that sounds bad, i suppose the laws of rugby mean there can't be such high tackles like you see in american football. i like both sports too, i am studying american sport at my college and i think its awesome, i just wish they showed more of it over here

The shoulder pads aren't Huge at all..And im just sayin the speed and size of nfl players its a goodthing they wear equipment..and they still get fucked up..alot of players have been paralzed..A qb got sacked once his leg bone broke through the pads lol...I like both though so theres no hating

rugby players don't wear huuuuuge shoulder pads and helmets though, and they don't stop every 5 seconds for a break. rugby is more fluent and lasts for 80 mins. american football players wear huge amounts of protection, aren't even on the field for half the game as they swap so often and the game is shorter - only 60 mins of actual play. for those reasons i think rugby players are definately tougher

i think it's because over here we have rugby and that provides us with all our handball and running needs. having said that, american football is catching on here as there have recently been a couple of clubs set up local to where i live in england.

This is awesome!
I love to watch and I adore American Football because it's a perfect mix of Handball and Running. I just don't get why this sport isn't popular over here in Europe. |
