Man is increasing the rate of climatic change by doing things like unlocking carbon that is supposed to remain dormant in the ground. Believe what you want but I am experiencing real climate change right now outside my home.
3 degrees does make a huge difference. Coral reefs have a comfort range of 4 degrees. if the area was in the upper half then now it is outside the range. the ocean has a very delicate balance of life and 100yrs is a heartbeat in evolutionary terms

wextremeist bs 3 degrees change over 100 years does not create that kind of change. some other forces are in action.also the planet has allways been in a state of climate change this is not something man has done.

I'm not talking about the cotton stuff. That is a bit too much for me. I have travelled too. I am just back from 4 weeks conservation work of South African wildlife and two weeks Coral research and conservation in Mozambique and I can tell you we are having detrimental effects on the wildlife and on the environment. The climate has tangibly changed here in Ireland over the last 5 years and is threatening ways of life and homes thanks to global warming

what i'm telling you is not like the rhetoric your'e parroting. we have more forest's now than even 100 years ago. I have traveled more in the last 2 years alone than most people see in 7 lifetimes, & I'm telling you it's not true what you say. I've seen it with my own 2 eyes all of usa & canada from coast to coast. don't believe the media hype. think for yourself for once. cotton is allready eco friendly, it's not polyster. big difference there.

do you honestly believe that? if we are fleas we are pretty strong because we are tearing the elephant to pieces.
with drilling, levelling of forests, burning of fuels, farming etc. we are causing insane amounts of destruction to the planet. for example Ireland used to be covered coast to coast with trees, now there are relatively few woodlands and plenty of farm-land. that is a pretty big difference
