Isn't Peter Sellers great in this aswell. Check out 'Being There' where he is Chauncey Gardiner. The funeral scene near the end is particularly interesting for conspiratists.

i remember watching this in high cshool lit class, i had no idea what it meant or how it tied into the class haha...the guy riding the rocket with a cowboy hat was funny tho

This is one of my favorite film endings ever ... so funny, but tinged with irony and poignancy, with the beautiful "We'll Meet Again" playing along with the haunting nuclear images. Brilliant.
