I was just there last week doing some reconstruction work at City Park Stadium... It's amazing how things have really started to turn around there, but there is still so much to be done! They need a lot more help and it's sad to see that many people essentially forgot what happened there.

Absolutely. I went through the entire area afterwards from Texas to Florida. I remember seeing piles of debris along I-10 10-15feet high, for miles! It was not isolated just to N.O. and people should realize the extent of the impact these storms can have on the entire gulf coast. |
