twenty years ago.
She doesn't even play chess.
Go figure.
Meanwhile, instead of thinking on the past, this is a great opening given Black remembers basic defence principles, as the very thrust up front is really a jolt to White.
I used to toss it out sometimes for surprise, but, nowadays, not so much into that thinking.
I don't really get to play anyone because all my chess playing friends are where I used to live. But, I still 'consider' some games

I'll bet I don't always rate your vids, but, dang! When I remember, it's always a five star game. Haven't seen any I haven't liked!
And, to be sure, all of my comments are with a grin....I try my best to follow a principled game (Evans) but with a thought to explore (Capablanca(sp?) and Fisher)
Lost most of my books 20 years back. a divorce;I ended up with all her nursing books, she got my chess books.
I got the cat, she got the dog.
But, it was her chess set even though she didn't play.
