I must say I agree.
The great Pavarotti sounds terrific, as always, but what was he thinking when he settled on this breakneck tempo?
The overly cheerful orchestration doesn't help either.

I love it when it's sung more "crying", then it gets so poignant !
Pavarotti sings it, of course, wonderfully! But I dislike this joyful version, I don't feel involved.
