The thing that makes the bugatti amazing is NOT that it has a thousand hp, cause a lot of tuners can push their cars to 13-1400hp... What makes it amazing is that it weighs 1900 kilos! A dude with a 400 kp/h supra probably has no interior left to keep it low wight wise. Yeah, and the veyron is ELECTRONICALLY locked at 407 =)

My Skyline GTR Supercharged Nitro Boosted for a 12th of the price takes this Veyron anytime anywhere two fingers in the nose,0 to 60 MPH in 2 sec !!! I ain't spending 1 Million Bucks for no Bugatti snail ! and no need for extra keys,just a good side computer,killer exhaust and the charging system,speed doesn't need to come that expensive,however the Veyron looks better than the Skyline I agree and I wish I could afford it...

You mean a 71 years old highly skilled driver back then which means he already did extreme driving in a past. Average driver no matter the age would not even try as SSC themselves states high skilled drivers required to push UA. Try to take hands off wheel on either cars and try to brake from 250-0 mph in 10 seconds.

hmm, I'm confident that the number of cylinders and displacement has a lot to do with speed. And the SSC UA broke the Veyron's record driven by an 80-year old man. Granted he DID know what he was doing. Still proves the car is simple to drive. Bit its even uglier than the Veyron. And I agree with you on the 9FF, that's a true piece of engineering what with its gold air intake and only 4 litres of displacement. A rediculous car at a very reasonable price.
