I am a firefighter/emt-b in Pa. I don't know any state that would allow a 14 yr old to be certified I call B.S. as well. And I know for a fact unless you are on the national registry you can not come to Pa and run as an emt with any other state certification unless you get certified in pa by the department of health.

And it is that which I respect. I salute all firefighters, no matter country or denomination. They are all there to do one thing, and that is to put out the most dangerous threat other than crime. You deal with dangerous crap when you deal with fire, which is why we should respect all firefighters... At least I know I do.

Fyi for every one that didnt know the dot regulates emts for the united states and they say that you have to be 18 to receive a emt licesnes so you can not be a emt at 14 some fire and ems departments let you ride along as a observer at the age of 17 to see if that is a carrer you are intersted in but their is no way you can be registered.

dude an EMT-B here in ohio is the same everywhere else my mom can go to any state and be a licensed EMT-B and ur Capt must be crazy to let you go on runs i barely get to go on runs and im almost 18

i am on the role i only can run calls with my caps permison and idk were eyour at i can get emt at 14 here
