This is Dave Lalama's composition, St. Thelonius, as performed by his Long Island Jazz Orchestra all star ensemble. Soloists are John Holford on alto and Dave on piano.
The band consists of saxes - John Holford, Alex Aviles, Wayne Shuester, John Marshall, and Jeff Lange, trombones - Chris Culver, Kevin Doolittle, Ed Leone, and Justin Comito, trumpets - Leon Petruzzi, Mike Rubenstein, Neal Bellon, and Mike Carubia, piano - Dr. Dave Lalama, bass - Bob Bowen, and drums - Andrew Bain. This video was shot live at Monroe Hall on the campus of Hofstra University on November 21, 2004.
