I remember Expanded Memory boards. Extra 64MB of RAM through a 260-something KB window through Physical RAM. It was slow, but it was awesome for the time. I also remember when the Upper Memory bug was found, so we could load one program into there. It was usually the DOS kernel.
Those were the days... though now we don't need drivers for our RAM. Hooray :P
